There are several jobs or professions that you can take up quite successfully without any formal education and training. Absence of formal education or training will not prevent you from becoming a Bill Gates or Rockefeller.

However you can not expect to become a licensed physician in absence of formal education and training that is the most demanding requirement for any Physician Jobs.

Simple education and training are not all. You require at least 4 years in an undergraduate school, another 4 years in medical school, and in addition a minimum of three to eight years of internship and residency to become a licensed physician anywhere in the United States.

Of course there are a few institutions that offer a combined program of under graduation and medical training. The advantage is that you complete the traditional eight year course in six years time and become eligible for Physician Positions.

The courses in premedical classes include physics, biology, and mathematics along with both wings of chemistry, organic and inorganic. Some students also take practical trainings in local hospitals on the Hospitalist Jobs.

Locum Tenens are often engaged to work as the substitute for the regular physician who is unavailable presently due to some reason or other. On the one hand it is economic for both the employer and the employee and on the other hand it allows the employee to gain valuable experiences to fill the vacant slot of physicians in future once they gather the required skill and expertise.

Use of locum tenens however has its own drawbacks as well. They are more for the person recruited than the one that recruits them. Very often the benefits of the job are not reflected in the contract leaving you high and dry. Unscrupulous merchants may ask you to perform Physician Jobs that is beyond your expertise and capability. Conversely the dishonest locum tenens can make the employer take a wrong inflated view about his or her skills resulting in disasters at real times.
