Due the many years Montana guest ranch have been on market it stands a better chance to in the market than the others. Despite that there is huge competition within the state, the west and also from ranches in Canada they have a long way to go before they catch up. But this does not mean that the managers should sleep thinking they will always be at the top. The change in taste and preference is a risk which should be closely watched.

Competition to dude ranches does not only come from themselves but also from other vacation spots which advancing rapidly in technology thus their rates falling to the rock bottom. Like Bonanza Creek the question of power should be quickly be addressed so that companies can use it for meetings and team building. This would make it possible to use electrical appliances like projectors, iron boxes and others that need constant and consume more voltage and would drain the solar batteries.

The guest ranch in question has very small accommodation capacity making it look like a hobby than a business. If the bed capacity would be increased to about a hundred people am sure the booking cost to the guest would come down tri folds. The space is enough and will be comfortable to both the animals and the guests.

My ideal Montana dude ranch would have lesser number of cattle, more human occupation, own source of better power and more and controlled human activities. Measures would be taken to avoid any animal human conflict through green tourism. A mega shopping mall would be included for good relevant to it.
