Being a parent is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have in a life time. It is the nature of all living creatures to produce offspring and take care of them till the time the offspring are able to face the world at their own. In case of human beings the parenting department is the most complex and probably the parenting time is the longest. There are few people having extreme desire to become parents but due to certain medical limitations are unable to do so. Surrogate parenting is one of the options available now no matter what it costs but there is no better feeling than to have a child of your own growing in front of your own eyes.

The most simple way to describe surrogate parenting is renting a womb for the growth of your child. Through inviter fertilization the embryo is injected in the womb of a woman other than the true mother and after the birth the child is returned to the original parents. However apart from the agreement between actual and surrogate parent all the medical expenses through pregnancy and birth are borne by the actual parent. To become a surrogate parent is a real challenging task but few women do it for financial reasons or some may do it to help a very close relative couple have a baby of their own who are unable to bear a child of their own.

A surrogate parent should be chosen very carefully because after bearing a child for nine months and after having given birth surrogate parent might feel unable to give up the child. Women chosen must have children of her own who does not intend to have more children and clear medical records i.e. there should not be any birth related complications associated with the surrogate parent previously. So before up taking such a task take all aspects of surrogate parenting in mind or consult some parenting forum before undertaking such a heavy responsibility.
